Mark Simpson, Director of Customer Relations, Transportation, and Warehouse at Northfield Trucking Company, brings extensive expertise in the Truckload and Warehousing industries. He specializes in providing innovative, cost-effective solutions for a diverse range of clients, from automotive manufacturers to retail craft and toy businesses. Mark’s ability to adapt to industry trends, build strong relationships, and maintain clear communication and operational efficiency ensures that customers receive tailored strategies that reduce costs, improve service reliability, and streamline their supply chains. Michelle, Northfield Trucking Company’s Safety Director since 2006, brings extensive experience and leadership to the role. She’s held positions such as National Interstate Committee Chair (2021-2023) and Executive Member of the Transportation Club of Detroit. Michelle was recognized as the MTA’s Safety Professional of the Year (2012) and is a certified Smith System Driver Trainer. She also oversees TSA Security, SmartWay-approved operations, and consistently achieves top ratings in safety audits, ensuring Northfield maintains the highest industry standards.

Brian, Northfield Trucking Company’s Operations Manager since 2017, is a third-generation trucker with deep roots in the industry. He has worked in all facets of trucking, bringing extensive knowledge in Manufacturing, Just-In-Time (JIT) logistics, Truckload, and Warehousing. Brian approaches daily operational challenges with creativity, ensuring Northfield provides superior service to all stakeholders. His expertise and innovative solutions drive the company’s operational excellence, making him an essential leader with the Northfield team.

Jennifer has been with Northfield Trucking Company since 2004, serving as the Account Manager since 2006. In addition to managing accounts, she also oversees payroll, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. A proud Air Force veteran, Jennifer brings exceptional leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills to the team. Her contributions are vital to the financial health of Northfield, making her a staple of the company’s success and ongoing growth.

Damian has been Northfield Trucking Company’s Fleet Manager since 2013. With over a decade of experience in managing the company’s fleet, Damian ensures that all units are maintained to the highest standards and are road-ready at all times. His attention to detail and commitment to efficiency help keep Northfield’s operations running smoothly. Damian’s leadership and expertise in fleet management play a vital role in the company’s day-to-day success, ensuring reliability and safety across the board.

Michael is Northfield Trucking Company’s Lead Mechanic, overseeing the maintenance and repair of our entire fleet. Michael became a certified mechanic in 2005. With years of hands-on experience in the industry, he ensures that all trucks operate at peak performance, minimizing downtime and keeping our drivers safe on the road. His expertise in diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance makes him an integral part of the Northfield team, ensuring our fleet stays reliable and efficient.
